Grades K–4 | 9:00 AM–12:30 PM | Monday–Friday, 3/30–4/3, 2026 | Sign up for each day or full week
Description
Roll for creativity! This spring break, The Maker Hive invites young adventurers to dive into the world of Dungeons & Dragons—through making. No experience with D&D needed. By the end of the week, every camper will have a character, a token, a map, and the confidence to go on their first adventure. Who is this for: Grades K–4. Perfect for kids who love fantasy, storytelling, art, and games. No prior D&D experience required. Schedule: 9:00 AM – 12:30 PM each day. Sign up for one day, a few days, or the full week — each day is a complete, standalone adventure. **When booking, please note that you can book any of the days Monday-Friday by clicking Monday, 3/30 and selecting one of the price variation options to choose individual days or the full week.** What we'll make each day: Monday, March 30 — Meet Your Character Create your D&D character! Draw your hero, choose your class (warrior, wizard, ranger, and more), and craft a character token from clay.. We'll cover the basics: what is D&D, what does a character do, and what are those funny dice for? Tuesday, March 31 — Build Your World Every great adventure needs a great map. Campers design and draw their own fantasy map — complete with mountains, dungeons, forests, and mysterious locations. Wednesday, April 1 — Dungeons & Dens Design and build a 3D dungeon or lair using cardboard engineering. Teams work together to create rooms, traps, and secret passages for their adventuring party to explore. Thursday, April 2 — Weapons, Wands & Gear Craft your character's signature item — a sword, a wizard's wand, a shield, or a magical artifact. Decorate and customize using paints, foil, gems, and fabric. Friday, April 3 — Adventure Day! Bring it all together! Campers use their characters, tokens, maps, and creations for a short, guided D&D-style adventure led by our instructor. Collaborative storytelling — no experience needed, no wrong answers! Sign-up options: Register for individual days or the full week. Each day stands alone, so kids can join for just one session or come for the full spring break adventure. What to bring: A snack, a water bottle, and your imagination. All materials provided. Questions? Email us at hello@makerhive.space or visit www.makerhive.space to register.
