8 Weeks of Creative Technology & Hands-On Making
Ages 9-13 | 9AM-12PM Core Program | Optional 12PM-2:30PM Extended Day

Transform your summer into an adventure in making, building, and creating! Each week features a unique theme combining traditional crafts with cutting-edge technology. Whether your child wants to design video games, build robots, craft D&D worlds, or engineer their own Bluetooth speaker, there's a week (or eight!) designed to spark their creativity and technical skills.
Weekly Themes:
Week 1: Video Game Design & Controller Building (Week of July 6)
Design and program your own retro-style video games, then take it to the next level by building a custom game controller to play your creations! Leave with a working game and controller you designed from scratch.
Week 2: LEGO Robotics Challenge (Week of July 13)
Dive into the world of competitive robotics using official First Lego League kits. Build, program, and run exciting missions with your LEGO creations while learning engineering and coding fundamentals. A great way to figure out if you want to join a local FLL team.
Week 3: D&D Makers Camp (Week of July 20)
Roll into the world of Dungeons & Dragons! Through hands-on projects, craft custom dice, design and build your own dice tower, design game maps and figurines, learn the basics of gameplay, and embark on your first campaign with a complete gaming kit you made yourself.
Week 4: Merch Making Studio (Week of July 27)
Become a product designer! Working through the complete design-to-production process, create your own logo or artwork, hand-carve your logo stamp using linocut techniques, screen print t-shirts, design stickers, and model keychains and luggage tags for 3D printing. Build a complete branded merchandise collection.
Week 5: Pinball Machine Design (Week of August 3)
Engineer your own tabletop pinball game from scratch through an iterative design process. Construct the game board, write the rules, add working LEDs and motors as decorative elements, then playtest and refine your creation. Take home a fully functional game you invented.
Week 6: Mini-World Architects (Week of August 10)
Explore the fundamentals of architecture and urban design through a comprehensive building project. Learn CAD software, 3D print structures, integrate simple electronics for lighting effects, and build a miniature world using recycled and craft materials. Create your own imaginative world to take home.
Week 7: Bluetooth Speaker Engineering (Week of August 17)
Build a working Bluetooth speaker from start to finish! Working through the full product development cycle, assemble the electronics, learn CAD to design a custom enclosure thinking through user experience, personalize your speaker, and rock out to your favorite music on a device you engineered yourself.
Week 8: LEGO Robotics Challenge (Week of August 24)
Back by popular demand! Another week of hands-on robotics using FLL LEGO kits for those who want more robot-building adventures and mission challenges.

Our Project-Based Learning Approach:
Each camp week is structured around completing a meaningful, real-world project from concept to completion. This hands-on approach builds confidence, critical thinking, and practical skills while ensuring every camper takes home something they're proud of.
What Makes Our Camps Truly Special
Exceptional Student-to-Teacher Ratio
With a maximum of just 8 students per session supported by both a technology instructor AND an art teacher, every child receives personalized attention and guidance. This dual-teacher approach uniquely combines technical skills with creative design, ensuring students master both the engineering and design aspects of their projects.
Professional Maker Tools & Technology
Access to 3D printers, laser cutters, Cricuts, electronics equipment, and more — the same tools used by professional makers and designers.
Inclusive & Welcoming Environment
Every learner is supported in developing their unique creative voice and technical abilities.
