We need 5 sign ups to run the class! Teachers: Suzie Fromer and Bonnie Rodgers, Repair Cafe Jewelry Coaches (This is a single, co-taught class with two instructors present at the same time. The registration system may display it as two sessions, but participants will attend just one class.) ***Advanced Jewelry Repair for Repair Cafes (only open to students who attended the first class or with permission of one of the instructors)*** We will be returning to the Makers Hive to teach a second jewelry repair class. We took your feedback to heart and have some improvements for this round, including a dedicated set of pliers for each student and pre-filled baggies of jewelry/parts for each student to assemble/fix. This should save significant time for everyone and we’re hoping we can get through more topics, including the following: 1. Mastery of most important skills in 101: crimping and elastic knot tying 2. Glue repairs including earring parts and ‘crimp ends’ for attaching ribbon or cord to metal findings 3. Wire wrapping basics for headpins, secure, non-soldered attachments and rosary chain Pricing options: If you commit to volunteering at two repair cafes, the charge for the class will be $10. Cancellation Policy
Needs minimum of 5 students to run the workshop. We will get in touch within 24 hours before the workshop to let you know if it is cancelled due to lack of enrollment and will issue a full refund. You can cancel up to 14 days before the workshop. No refunds for any cancellations within 14 days of the workshop unless we are able to fill your spot or if we cancel the workshop due to low enrollment.
