Dancing Inchworms

Cardboard engineering, a servo motor and a paper clip to build your own dancing inch worm!

This involved cardboard engineering, incorporating a servo motor, a twisted paper pin and controlling the inchworm with the Micro:bit.

The first day the kids had a working prototype that inched forward "forever" when you pressed the button on the Micro:bit.  This led to the battery running out overnight since they had forgotten to disconnect.

By the last day of camp, the kids had the engineering nailed down and also figured out how to remotely control the inchworm using a second Micro:bit and stopping the inchworm on command.  No more discharged batteries!!
