Payment by Zelle to 914-319-9096 is preferred ***SCHEDULE *** Week 1 (July 7- July 11 | 1:30 PM to 4:30PM) - Linocut printmaking Week 2 (July 14 - July 18 | 1:30 PM to 4:30PM) - Felted Creatures Week 3 (July 21 - July 25 | 1:30 PM to 4:30PM) - Bargello and Embroidery Week 4 (Aug 11 - Aug 15 | 9 AM to 12PM) - Gelli Prints and Paper Marbling Week 5 (Aug 18 - Aug 22 | 9 AM to 12PM) - Collographs and Bookbinding Week 6 (Aug 25 - Aug 29 | 9 AM to 12PM) - Hand Sewn Stuffed Animals **Summer Stitch & Print Studio: A Hands-On Fiber & Printmaking Experience for Tweens & Teens** In this series, students will have the opportunity to explore a variety of textile and paper arts techniques within a small group, guided by passionate instructors. Example projects include embroidered or needlepoint designs, woven and felted textiles, marbled and printed papers, bookbinding, and sewn creations like stuffed figures and decorative pieces as well as functional items. The goal is to explore different mediums and techniques while developing a personal artistic style. Signing up for multiple weeks allows students to go deeper into a skill or try different project types. **Fiber & Textile Arts Skills** - Weaving, felting, and textile design - Hand-sewing, embroidery, bargello, and needlepoint - Sashiko stitching and decorative embellishment - Print & Paper Arts Skills: - Linocut, block printing, gelliprinting and screen printing on fabric, paper and wood - Paper marbling techniques for unique pattern creation - Bookbinding to create personalized journals and sketchbooks ****Maker Skills That We Emphasize**** - Project based learning - Design thinking and artistic exploration - Hands-on experimentation and craftsmanship - Problem-solving and technique development - Collaboration and sharing ideas in a creative space - Being mindful of materials and sustainability in artmaking At the end of each week, there will be a showcase for family and friends where students can display their handcrafted projects and celebrate their creativity.

Cancellation Policy

- You can cancel before June 1st for a full refund minus $100. - No refunds after June 1st unless we are able to fill the spot. - We need a minimum of 4 students to run the camp. Camp weeks can be cancelled due to low enrollment. - If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment, the entire fees (minus a 3% processing fee incase of card payments) will be refunded.
