Who is this for Students new to making, coding, or circuits. No experience needed, this is the perfect place to start. What they'll do Students design and build a light-up neon-style sign for an invented shop, band, or brand. Using NeoPixel LEDs and a micro:bit, they program custom animations — chasing lights, pulsing glows, flickering effects — and house them in a frame they design and fabricate themselves. Along the way they learn circuits, block coding, and CAD basics. The showcase finale, a wall of glowing student-designed signs, is not to be missed. Skills • Basic circuits • Micro:bit programming • NeoPixel control • Intro CAD • Laser cutting or 3D printing • Prototyping Class Information Tuition: $675 per 12 week session. Cancellation Policy
- You can cancel up to one week before the start of a class for a 50% refund. - If using a 6 Class Pack Plan (currently only applies to crochet classes), you must let us know at least 24 hours in advance if you are unable to come to a session in order to reschedule. Failure to email us will result in you forfeiting the session. Please be sure to email us at hello@makerhive.space - No refunds if cancelled within a week of the first class (except in case of a trial first class or if we fill your spot). - Pro-rated fees available if you sign up for a class mid-way. - Classes can be cancelled due to low enrollment. - If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment, all fees will be refunded.
