Description
10 sessions- No sessions on 10/13 and 10/20 Who should take this class: Students who have completed Level 1 or have equivalent maker experience. Reach out to us if you have any questions and we can help figure out if this is the right fit for your child. What you will learn: Level 2 students build on foundations from Level 1 and incorporate external sensors to make their projects “smart”. They’ll explore more advanced circuitry that involves external sensors and power management. They will also go deeper into CAD design for 3D printing or laser cutting the structural components of their project. Fall Theme - Illuminated Innovations: Create sophisticated lighting systems like an interactive light installation that responds to viewers' movements, a smart lamp that adjusts brightness based on ambient light levels, or displays different patterns based on ambient sound. Skills practiced: • Advanced circuits • Micro:bit programming • Sensor integration • CAD design • Laser cutting • 3D printing • Project Planning • Prototyping and iteration • User-centered design Payment Information 5% family discount for anyone signing up more than one person. - You can cancel up to one week before the start of a class for a 50% refund. - No refunds if cancelled within a week of the first class (except in case of a trial first class or if we fill your spot). - Pro-rated fees available if you sign up for a class mid-way. - Classes can be cancelled due to low enrollment. - If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment, all fees will be refunded.
