Look up 914-319-9096 to pay via Zelle. Over 16 weeks, beginners will learn the basics of crochet including making a granny square while intermediate crocheters will work on a beginner sweater. If you are a beginner, all supplies will be provided. For intermediate crocheters, this is the sweater pattern that we will follow: https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/mariniere-striped-henley You will learn how to read a pattern and make a sweater that you can wear! (Note: Please buy your own pattern to support the designer and do not share pattern outside your household) Please purchase yarn and hooks for the project and bring it to the first class: - Yarn suggested by pattern: (acrylic yarn) https://www.lionbrand.com/products/color-theory-yarn - Yarn suggested by Linnea: (cotton yarn) (note: 1 skein of lion brand yarn is equal to 3 skeins of this yarn) https://hobbii.com/friends-cotton-8-8 - Any yarn that is considered 4-ply or worsted weight will work. Note: if you aren’t sure how much yarn you need, buy 2 skeins of each color and we can help figure out how much more you’ll need to buy at the first class - Please bring an assortment of crochet hooks to the first class in order to test your tension. Sizes 5mm-8mm should be sufficient About the instructor: Linnea Grimm has been crocheting for 4 years after learning through online tutorials during COVID. She has since crocheted nearly every single day, specializing in wearable garments and tapestry color work. Linnea owns a pop-up vintage shop called Cursed Objects Vintage and is one of the organizers of the Hastings Flea Market (second Sundays of the month through November) where you can find her vintage booth. Linnea’s fashion background has given her a deep knowledge of the ethics and sustainability of the fashion industry which in turn informs her practice as a fiber artist.

Cancellation Policy

- You can cancel up to one week before the start of a class for a 50% refund. - No refunds if cancelled within a week of the first class (except in case of a trial first class or if we fill your spot). - Pro-rated fees available if you sign up for a class mid-way. - Classes can be cancelled due to low enrollment. - If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment, all fees will be refunded.
